Beverley H. Johns has more than thirty-five years' experience working with students with significant behavioral disorders and learning disabilities. She is the author or coauthor of nine published books, is active in a number of state and national organizations, and was the 2000 recipient of the Outstanding Leadership Award of the International Council for Exceptional Children.
Mary Z. McGrath taught for thirty-one years, primarily in the area of special education, in Bloomington, Minnesota, public schools. She currently writes and offers varied workshops to educators, parents, and the general public.
Sarup R. Mathur is Clinical Professor, Cluster Chair of the Special Education Program at Arizona State University. She has extensive experience in developing educational programs for students with special needs.
